Do other people’s lies affect you deeply? Being able to remain grounded when you are lied to is a reflection of how safe you feel within you. Whereas lies are never a nice thing to experience and boundaries should be put in place in those situations, when you feel safe you are able to see those situations as part of an experience rather than a threat to your wellbeing. They often have to deal more with the person that uses lies as a defence mechanism because they don't have other resources to deal with the situation.
